Global Action Plan Ireland delivers workshops in primary and secondary schools tailored to each group’s interests, schedule, and abilities.
We run participative workshops in a range of Climate Action themes such as Biodiversity, Energy conservation, Global Citizenship, Waste, Water, Fast Fashion. All workshops are designed and adapted for the age and context we deliver it in. These can be delivered in your classroom or over Zoom. All our facilitators are highly experienced and garda vetted by Global Action Plan
Workshops are normally between 45 mins and 1.5 hours depending on time availability in schools and the theme being covered. We provide time for Q&A in all sessions We also provide the option of a follow up reflection session, usually 4 weeks after the workshop, for schools who which to take action on what they have learned.
For secondary and TY teachers, we run a programme called Action on Global Citizenship that explores themes of sustainable development, climate action and our impact as global citizens through a lens of Global Citizenship Education. Our team is constantly revising and improving our content. As a result, we provide participants and beneficiaries with the most up-to-date and practical information in this rapidly advancing area of sustainability. We ensure that our staff and educators are professionally trained and experienced in delivering environmental education workshops. In addition to that, all staff has child protection training and Garda vetting.

Our workshops start from €160 and are delivered across one day. We have an incremental cost for multiple workshops in one day.

Travel costs will also apply where applicable. We offer 15% discounts for DEIS schools.
This pricing is for schools only to support their school budget considerations. We feel our pricing is affordable and accessible for your budgets and needs. Our pricing is structured for both in class and delivery over Zoom over one day.
