“Waste Wise” is a hands-on workshop for school students, which will introduce them to waste (landfills, incineration, recycling, composting) and the environmental impacts that our waste causes. This workshop aims to raise awareness in an age appropriate, relevant, interactive, and positive way. The workshops will equip students with the knowledge and skills that will help them and the wider community respond effectively to waste.
This workshop is suitable for primary level students from 1st to 6th Class and students at the junior and TY stages of secondary level.
The workshop will incorporate a variety of fun, interactive, and thought-provoking activities and enhance the personal development of students in areas such as critical thinking, communication, leadership and presentation skills. During the workshop, students will discuss practical, relevant examples of how students can take positive action towards tackling waste accumulation.
