This job is for 15 hours per week, within a normal working week (Monday – Friday). Exact hours and days to be agreed.

Salary is €15,000 per year (equivalent to €37,500 full-time), and the role is for the duration of our 2-year project.

We are looking for people with strong roots in the community, who can be the visible presence of the project in Ballymun. The person will be responsible for building connections  with residents in Ballymun, meeting people where they are. It will definitely help if you like having cups of tea!

We’re hoping you can help build relationships and trust with people and groups, and encourage people to take part in the project. Your role will be to weave connections between different groups and initiatives, and to help people to come together on shared ideas or projects.

“Ballymun Is Brilliant” is a project funded by Creative Ireland, and managed by Axis Ballymun, Global Action Plan and the Rediscovery Centre.

The project wants to support people in Ballymun, encouraging them to develop and support local ideas that contribute to a better future for everyone in the community.
