St Josephs senior school in Ballymun celebrated the completion of the Park Stewardship programme last week. They were joined by former pupil of the school John Lyons T.D. The newly accredited Park Stewards wasted no time in regaling John with all they have accomplished over the past ten weeks – including collecting litter in Balcurris park, studying the flora and fauna of Poppintree Park and visiting the north Bull Island, in the Dublin Bay Biosphere. Well done St Josephs Senior 4th Class, you are a great credit to your community! Thanks to all the teachers and parents who supported the students during the programme.
