Triet and Lan Anh arrived from Vietnam at the beginning of the summer spent their time working in the community with some of our team.
They are producing a documentary on their visit and were really interested in learning how to get communities working together, and finding the community spirit!
Community spirit means pride in a community. There are many ways to promote community spirit by engaging residents in various collaborative activities.They spoke to local resident Bernie Moore who welcomed them to Belclare Park. Bernie gave them some information on Tidy Towns and how she gets residents out working together, bringing children and adults working together. They rolled up their sleeves with everyone at the community gardens and visited local schools.
