This interactive online toolkit was designed to help community groups to take action on issues that matter to them.
The toolkit uses the framework of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to do this. Set up in 2015 by the United Nations and signed by 193 countries, the 17 SDGs aim to drastically improve the conditions for people and planet by 2030. They focus on topics like zero hunger, no poverty, quality education, decent work, reduced inequality, and life on land and below water.
If you want to introduce your group to the SDGs, click on “Introducing the Goals” below for some activities to do this.
To explore the goals, choose “The Goals: 1 – 16” to browse the goals.
For some ideas and tools for taking action, look at the “Action and Reflection” section.
