Changing Lives; Changing the Planet
Global Action Plan (GAP) is an environmental charity focusing on behaviour change.
We aim to inspire people to become environmental ‘change makers’, helping them to discover their power to make a change.
Through our programmes, we equip people in community groups, schools and businesses with the knowledge and skills to develop local responses to global crises.
Our schools programme is aimed at supporting students, teachers & school communities in making a difference towards a healthier planet and a safer, more just world.
We also support local communities in making changes towards more sustainable living, and partners with businesses to provide learning opportunities, team building experiences and employee engagement options that help build a nation-wide movement for change.

Volunteer with GAP By helping out in our community gardens, you can learn new skills in organic gardening, or simply find peace among like-minded people, and beautiful plants. We operate two community gardens in the Dublin area, to provide a resource and hub for environmental education initiatives in the heart of urban communities. Volunteering in our GLAS Community Garden in Ballymun, or in our new community garden in Blanchardstown, gives you an opportunity to learn new skills in organic gardening while supporting communities that use the garden on a weekly basis.
