Wish You Were Here, our postcard garden at Bloom 2026, reflects the central philosophy of GLAS community gardens: havens of inclusion, diversity and connection for people, plants and animals.

The Wish You Were Here garden reflects the GLAS philosophy that all people, and all species, are welcome and are valued. Here, we have space for all beings to live together in collaborative, positive relationships. This is a special natural place that truly feels like home for all.

Located in Ballymun and TU Dublin Blanchardstown, these beautiful spaces are places of learning and collaboration for people of all backgrounds and interests; local volunteers, school groups, community groups and businesses come to learn and work together. They grow food, exercise, learn about sustainability, or just relax and spend time together.

Everyone should be able to build a healthy, strong connection to nature in their local area – whatever your means, ability or place of origin. The web of life includes all humans, all plants, all pollinators – everything is connected. GLAS strengthens and supports those connections.
