We recently completed a 4 week programme on Environmental Sustainability with a group of TY’s from Kilbarrack Youth Project.

Together, we explored environmental ethics, energy and climate change, the world of water as well as food miles and waste.
Examples of results from the programme: Lauren will take action to cut down on her water use, Dylan will try not to waste as much food and Adam is going to set up a home compost bin!
Youth Leader Lee said the “Debates were enjoyable, the young people gained important knowledge and perhaps will begin thinking differently about sustainability.”
