Pupils from Gaelscoil Bhaile Munna joined GAP in the Virgin Mary Community Garden for a Discover Primary Science and Maths (DPSM) Garden Biodiversity workshop.

They enjoyed a tour of the garden, learning about rainwater harvesting, crop rotation, composting and even got to taste the delicious raspberries that were ripe and ready to eat!

They got their hands nice and mucky planting wintering onion bulbs and bug hunting, collecting all sorts of little creatures to identify (and then returned them safely to their habitats).

It’s always a morning well spent in the garden!
