As a graduate from Queens University Belfast in Sustainable Development working for Global Action Plan has given me the opportunity to put my academic learning into practice. Working with schools, community groups and individuals to develop ways in which they can reduce their carbon footprint and save money in a fun, confidence building way is great.
Graduate in Environmental Science from the University of the West of England, Bristol. Previously worked for the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds (RSPB), in the UK and the Field Studies Council, in Scotland.
A graduate of the National Botanic Gardens(Amenity Horticulture) & Coventry university (H.Dip Horticultural therapy). I am a passionate believer in the therapeutic benefits of gardening, and gardening is for everyone, regardless of ability or resources.
Graduate in Environmental Conservation Management & World Heritage Management (MSc) from University College Dublin with over 15 years experience in delivering and managing environmental programmes in Ireland and abroad.
Studied Communications in Dublin City University, and a Fetac and a Hetac course through Mayfield Arts Cork and CIT in Community and Development Education and Facilitation.I believe in working together as a community to create change, and to become empowered through learning new skills and knowledge and through taking action together.
Graduate of Business Studies and Accountancy from LYIT. Administrator of the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI) workshop programme with Global Action Plan. Previously worked with Pobal in the Community and Voluntary Sector Programme.
I am a qualified youth officer with an accountancy background who has 10 years experience working in an environmental role. I have been delivering community projects and Green Living Programmes for a number of years now and know the benefits that these programmes offer to participants.
